 I lovingly design these houses using a variety of found & recycled items, beginning with the perfect ‘antique’… usually something broken, seemingly useless & unwanted. I like to think that it is things like these that the faeries would choose to inhabit… Imagine walking through the woods, and finding an old child’s toy, or a dented tea kettle, all covered with mosses & mushrooms, shaded by ferns… trailing ivy… Wouldn’t a fairy take up residence there? (Goodness, I would… Wouldn’t you?) And use of such unique vintage items assures that each piece is unique – that I promise. My cottage creations are made ‘In the Round’, so even though each one may have a ‘back’, each are pretty on all sides. I post several views of each cottage, but I must admit that I wanted to leave some to your imagination – just know that each of these houses are simply teeming with delights! (I’ve had so many people view a house once, then swear I had ‘added’ new things when they saw the same house the second time! …It wasn’t me, it was the fairies!) So be sure to peek beneath every leaf! You are sure to be enchanted by something new each time you visit…

twiggy "easel", displaying the above story, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
